About the Author

Aubria Ralph is a Caribbean-American polymath. Before starting her journey with the Adventures of Boo and Chin series, Ralph had three successful careers in corporate retail training and development at a variety of retail chains and high-end boutiques, higher education at City University of New York and more recently cross-border banking and finance attorney at a top-100 law firm. 

Ralph spent the first twelve years of her life on the beautiful island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and had a desperate curiosity to know as much she could about everything she could. Her family members have fond memories of her love of reading and being a “ready-made kid”. Her childhood was filled with adventures with her cousins before moving to Long Island, NY as a pre-teen. 

Ralph currently resides in New York City and credits her success to her close-knit family and her relationship with Jesus. Her book series combines Ralph’s experiences as a child with those of her friends and her friends' children. When she's not busy outlining and sketching a new book idea, Ralph is the CEO and founder of professional consulting firm, Scrappy Girl Project, leveraging her varied professional and personal experiences to advise business clients on discrete and bespoke matters. 

Ralph may be the only person who is currently doing everything, everywhere, all at once to reference the 2023 Oscar-winning movie. Be on the lookout for Aubria Ralph; she is certainly full of surprises even when you’re looking and we are certain she has many surprises in store for the Adventures of Boo and Chin series.

The Adventures of Boo and Chin series was created to inspire and catalyze children to pursue their dreams no matter what. The books show kids how to resolve conflict, be better friends, learn and embrace different customs and have as much fun as humanly possible.

Initially born from a passing thought of two friends who met as adults and envisioned a life where they met as children. Boo is a blended character who has everything that is great about author, Aubria Ralph, her best friends and her god-daughters while Chin combination of the godsons.

In 2015, Ralph began writing the initial drafts in the notes section of her phone, on a 90-minute subway ride to the Bronx. Although she wanted to release the books during that time, Ralph struggled to find an illustrator to help her realize her brainchild. However, in 2022, Ralph connected with Reya Lanot-Manuel on Linkedin and they began what would become the Adventures of Boo and Chin.

Initially releasing the first seven books in the series, Ralph envisions many more books in the series and her godson Garrison agrees as he pitches her new ideas for books any chance he gets. We hope you love this labor of lover as you share with your loved ones.
